This is one of my all-time favourite effects, and I’ve performed it hundreds of times across the UK at lectures and conventions, always with incredible reactions.
The routine comes straight from my best-selling booklet—Beyond Limits by Vinny Sagoo.
The Effect:
A spectator freely selects a card, which is then shuffled back into the deck, seemingly lost forever.
You confidently reveal a card, only to discover it’s not the chosen one—cue the collective groan from the audience!
But all is not lost.
You place this incorrect card between two other cards.
With a magical snap of your fingers, the sandwich transforms in an instant, and the middle card is now miraculously the spectator’s original selection!
