Monkey Brain,
Created by Daniel Brkic
The creator of Ghost Coin In Can.
Think of Imagination coins now done with cards.
Easy to do!
Easy setup!
Gimmick easy to make!
Packs small and plays big!
Everyone gets monkey brain now and then.
When you think you did something but you didn’t. Or if you didn’t do something that you think you did do.
Now you can test how much monkey brain your spectator has.
You show your spectator 4 cards and 2 black aces,
You ask your spectator to hold onto the 4 cards, and then ask your spectator to just pretend to put one of the cards between the aces.
As you ask, did you really put the card between the aces or did you pretend.
Spectator obviously say they pretended,
As you spread the aces to show one of the cards is now between aces,
And the spectator is now only holding 3 cards.
You give the card back to the spectator so they now have the 4 cards again.
This time you ask your spectator to really put one of the cards between the 2 black aces.
So they pick up one of the 4 cards and really put it between the aces, leaving them with 3 cards.
And you ask the same question.
“Did you really put the card between aces or did you pretend”
This time your spectator knows they put the card between the aces.
But as you spread the aces the card has vanished and has now jumped back to join the other cards.
You can give the aces to your spectator to examine along with the 4 cards they are holding. And you can spread through the rest of the deck to show there are no duplicate cards.
You can even have the card that jumps back and forth signed by your spectator.
This is very easy to do,
No difficult moves, so it’s great for beginners,
And also perfect for professional.
Magic is always strongest when it’s done in the spectators hands.
It makes it feel so much more magical for them.
