Effect
A spectator lends you a banknote. Two cards are chosen. You place the cards back-to-back, sandwich the borrowed note between them, and staple all three together with a stapler.
The spectator themselves pulls their banknote out from the stapled cards – completely unharmed.
For the finale, the stapled cards are placed in the spectator’s hands. With a simple gesture, the two stapled cards fuse into one impossible souvenir: a single card with two different faces – and the original staple still holding it together.
